ABOUT THE FAIR
The Rosen & Garden Fair is an annual trade and public event dedicated to the world of horticulture, rose cultivation, and artisanal design. Each September, the historic Hofwiese in Kronach is transformed into a vibrant hub of floral inspiration, creative craftsmanship, and culinary discovery. The fair is organized by Stefanie Kober, who has created an event that impresses both industry professionals and garden enthusiasts with a keen sense of quality and atmosphere.
The fair focuses on rose cultivation, horticulture, specialty plants, and herbs. This offering is complemented by high-quality products from the fields of arts and crafts, interior decor, and gourmet culture. More than 100 exhibitors – including renowned rose growers, nurseries, florists, artisans, and regional food producers – present a carefully curated selection ranging from rare plant varieties and artistic garden ceramics to culinary delicacies.
Firmly rooted in the Upper Franconian town of Kronach, the event harmonizes perfectly with the region’s cultural heritage and natural surroundings. Rosenberg Fortress – one of the most significant historical landmarks in Franconia – provides a unique setting with its central location, impressive architecture, and excellent accessibility for visitors from both near and far.
Special program highlights include a creatively designed children's circus, live musical performances, and the "Dance of Colors" – an artistic interpretation of nature's rich diversity.
Exhibitors come from a wide range of sectors, including landscape architecture, ornamental plant production, floral design, handicrafts, fashion, and gourmet foods.
